On Saturday April 6 form 11 am to 2 pm FOJT and Friends of The Legacy Trail sponsored a Free Bike Helmets for Kids Event at the OJT shade structure by the Trail. Ralph Monti, FOJT Bicycling Advocacy Coordinator, planned and supervised the event. Volunteers fitted and gave away 58 bike helmets. The helmets were provided by the Florida Department of Transportation. The volunteers working with Ralph were Michelle Stanley, Janine Jacobs, Pete and Norma Trinchero, Margaret Monti and Wanda Short. Thanks to all for an outstanding event.
