Rain Garden Work

Meg Larrabee, Holly Vincent and Emily Miller loosened tree trunks to be pulled.

County Parks has allowed us to begin work on the Rain Garden in front of the future Visitor Center. We are very excited to get started on our first of five demonstration gardens at OJT. The first order of business was removing some dead tree trunks. Volunteers Meg Larrabee, Holly Vincent and Emily Miller loosened them up for Chuck Butterfield to pull them out with the Kubota. The other gardens we plan to work on next are the Butterfly, Wildflower, Bird and Native Plant gardens.
