Twenty three painters from the SRQ Plein Air Painters Cub were spread throughout Osprey Junction Trailhead Park on March 20 to enjoy a beautiful morning as they painted. Seven OJT volunteers joined them as a special volunteer benefit with painting supplies provided to beginners by Origami Air Art Studio. Works of art were shared with the group at a picnic lunch hosted by us that included 16 volunteers doing normal work at the Park. Pam Callender, a professional art curator and member of our Leadership Team, coordinated this inaugural event with support from other Leadership Team members. What a great start to our “Art in the Park” Program!
