We are please to announce our partnership with People for Trees, a non-profit native tree advocacy organization. They have been creating awareness about the importance of maintaining our tree canopy since 1997. Check out www.peoplefortrees.com. Alice White is the leader of People for Trees and she will be on our Leadership Team working on projects at Osprey Junction Trailhead Park. The first project will be a tree arboretum integrated with existing trees at the park to promote public education of native trees. Alice also plans to adapt an existing program for implementation at OJT called “Eco-Kids Club”.
