We just received a $9,500 grant from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation to fund our Pedicab Ride Program. This program will offer free pedicab rides on The Legacy Trail to mobility-challenged children and adults who cannot enjoy the beauty of the Trail on their own. A pedicab is a pedal-powered canopied “rickshaw” that sits one bicycle operator and two or three rear passengers. The pedicab will leave and return to the Osprey Junction Trailhead Visitor Center with rides planned to begin in October. During the ride a volunteer bicyclist will provide commentary that highlights nature and history attractions on the Trail.
