Volunteer Work Guidelines for Osprey Junction Trailhead Park
Effective July 1, 2020
- Volunteer work will be available every Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 am
- Volunteers, including Master Gardeners, must email Megan Eidel, Trails Management, to sign up for work meidel@scov.net
- A maximum of 5 volunteers will be allowed to work each Wednesday morning, based on time of email sign up
- Volunteers may sign up for multiple Wednesday mornings at one time
- Friends of Osprey Junction Trailhead will send out work sign up reminders each week that will include work to be done and current work guidelines
- Work will only be done outside on the park grounds
- Volunteers will provide their own gloves, tools, water and snacks
- If volunteers use County Parks gloves, they will not be returned for reuse
- If County Parks tools are used, volunteers will clean them before and after use
- Cleaning supplies for tools will be provided by County Parks
- Physical distance between people must be at least 6 feet
- Wearing masks is optional
- Volunteers will be asked a list of questions before being allowed to work
- Work breaks will only be taken outside on the park grounds
- Bathrooms inside the Visitor Center may be used one person at a time
- Volunteers will clean whatever is touched in the bathrooms
- Soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer and wipes will be available in the bathrooms
